Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Lenten Season. The Church begins a spiritual journey, a renewal of her existence and a rediscovery of her life with God. It is not only a season of fasting and prayer, it is about opening one’s Heart in moving closer to Jesus with Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Acts of Kindness and Charity.
