Dear friends in Christ,
In Today’s Gospel reminds us of something very beautiful: Jesus teaches us how to pray. He tells us to call God our Father, and to trust that when we ask, seek, and knock, God always hears us and gives us good things (Luke 11:1–13). I feel those words deeply in my heart as I write to you from a very holy place—Fátima, Portugal.
This week, I have the great joy of making a pilgrimage with a group of 30 wonderful people from all across California. We arrived in Fátima late on Monday, and on Tuesday, we visited the quiet village where the Angel of Peace first appeared to the three little shepherd children—Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia. It was deeply touching to walk through the places where Heaven touched Earth through these humble children.
One of the greatest blessings of my life happened here: I was able to celebrate Mass at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima. As a boy growing up in India, I used to pray before a small grotto of Our Lady of Fátima in my village parish. Back then, I never imagined I would one day stand at this very holy place to offer the Holy Eucharist. It was a dream I never dared to dream—but God made it happen.
We also traveled to Santarém, a city where a beautiful Eucharistic miracle happened many centuries ago. I was blessed to celebrate Mass in the very church where that miracle took place. Being there reminded me of the incredible gift we have in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Truly, God is with us!
Everywhere I go, I carry all of you in my prayers. I have prayed for your families, your needs, and for
peace in your hearts. As today’s Gospel reminds us, when we pray, God listens. When we knock, God opens the door. So keep praying with faith.
May Our Lady of Fátima bless you always. May the Angel of Peace protect you. And may Jesus, truly present in the Eucharist, fill your life with strength, hope, and joy.

El Evangelio de hoy nos recuerda algo muy hermoso: Jesús nos enseña a orar. Nos dice que llamemos a Dios nuestro Padre y que confiemos en que cuando pedimos, buscamos y llamamos, Dios siempre nos escucha y nos da cosas buenas (Lucas 11:1-13). Siento esas palabras profundamente en mi corazón mientras les escribo desde un lugar muy sagrado: Fátima, Portugal. Esta semana, tengo la gran alegría de hacer una peregrinación con un grupo de 30 personas maravillosas de toda California. Llegamos a Fátima a última hora del lunes, y el martes visitamos la tranquila aldea donde el Ángel de la Paz se apareció por primera vez a los tres pastorcitos: Jacinta, Francisco y Lucía. Fue profundamente conmovedor caminar por los lugares donde el Cielotocó la Tierra a través de estos humildes niños.
Una de las mayores bendiciones de mi vida sucedió aquí: pude celebrar la misa en el Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Cuando era niño y crecía en la India, solía rezar ante una pequeña gruta de Nuestra Señora de Fátima en la parroquia de mi pueblo. En ese entonces, nunca imaginé que algún día estaría en este lugar tansagrado para ofrecer la Sagrada Eucaristía. Fue un sueño
que nunca me atreví a soñar, pero Dios lo hizo realidad.
También viajamos a Santarém, una ciudad donde ocurrió un hermoso milagro eucarístico hace muchos siglos. Tuve la bendición de celebrar misa en la misma iglesia donde tuvo lugar ese milagro. Estar allí me recordó el increíble regalo que tenemos en la Presencia Real de
Jesús en la Eucaristía. ¡Verdaderamente, Dios está con nosotros!
Donde quiera que voy, los llevo a todos en mis oraciones. He orado por sus familias, sus necesidades y por la paz en sus corazones. Como nos recuerda el Evangelio de hoy, cuando oramos, Dios escucha. Cuando tocamos, Dios abre la puerta. Así que sigue orando con fe.
Que Nuestra Señora de Fátima los bendiga siempre. Que el Ángel de la Paz te proteja. Y que Jesús, verdadera mente presente en la Eucaristía, llene tu vida de fuerza, esperanza y alegría.
