In today’s Gospel, Jesus speaks words that every heart needs to hear: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Have faith in God; have faith also in me.” These words were spoken on the night before His Passion, when fear, confusion, and sorrow filled the hearts of the disciples. Yet Jesus gives them peace in the middle of uncertainty.
We live in troubled times. We see wars between nations, violence in our streets, division in families, fear about the future, and anxiety in many hearts. Sometimes it feels as if darkness is winning. But the Gospel reminds us that God has not abandoned His people. Christ is still with us.
Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” He does not simply show us the way—He is the Way. When the world is lost, Jesus is our direction. When lies and confusion spread, Jesus is the Truth. When hearts feel empty and wounded, Jesus is the Life that renews us.
Faith does not mean life will be free from problems. Faith means we trust that God is greater than every problem. The Cross looked like defeat, but it became victory. The tomb looked final, but it opened to resurrection. The same Lord who conquered death can also bring peace to our troubled hearts.
So today, let us not surrender to fear. Let us pray more, trust more, forgive more, and love more. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus. In every storm, His voice still says: “Do not let your hearts be troubled.”
May our homes, our parish, and our nation become places where faith is stronger than fear, hope is stronger than despair, and Christ is stronger than every darkness.

En el Evangelio de hoy, Jesús nos dice palabras que todos necesitamos escuchar: “No se turben sus corazones. Tengan fe en Dios y tengan fe también en mí.” Estas palabras las dijo Jesús cuando sus
discípulos tenían miedo, tristeza y preocupación. Pero Jesús les da paz en medio de la dificultad.
Vivimos tiempos difíciles. Vemos guerras entre naciones, violencia en nuestras calles, división en las familias, miedo al futuro y preocupación en muchos corazones. A veces parece que la oscuridad está ganando. Pero el Evangelio nos recuerda que Dios no abandona a su pueblo. Cristo sigue con nosotros. Jesús dice: “Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida.” Él no solo nos muestra el camino, Él es el Camino. Cuando el mundo está perdido, Jesús nos guía. Cuando hay mentiras y confusión, Jesús es la Verdad. Cuando el corazón está cansado y herido, Jesús es la Vida que nos renueva.
Tener fe no significa vivir sin problemas. Tener fe significa confiar en que Dios es más grande que
cualquier problema. La Cruz parecía derrota, pero se convirtió en victoria. La tumba parecía el final, pero se abrió a la resurrección. El mismo Señor que venció la muerte también puede traer paz a nuestros corazones.
Hoy no vivamos con miedo. Oremos más, confiemos más, perdonemos más y amemos más. Mantengamos nuestros ojos en Jesús. En cada tormenta, Él nos sigue diciendo: “No se turben sus corazones.”
Que nuestros hogares, nuestra parroquia y nuestra nación sean lugares donde la fe sea más fuerte que el miedo, la esperanza más fuerte que la tristeza, y Cristo más fuerte que toda oscuridad.
