A Note from Our Pastor – Welcoming Advent and Honoring Mary Immaculate

Dear Parish Family,
As we enter the sacred season of Advent, a time of joyful preparation for the coming of our Savior, I warmly invite you to reflect on the beauty and significance of this holy season.
Advent encourages us to pause, prepare our hearts, and deepen our hope as we journey together toward the celebration of Christ’s birth.
This year, we have a special opportunity to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, our parish’s Patroness, under her title of the Immaculate Conception. Although the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception falls on Sunday, December 8, it is not a holy day of obligation. We will celebrate her with a special Mass on Monday, December 9, at 9:00 AM.
To help prepare our hearts for this celebration, we will pray the Rosary before every Mass from November 30th through December 8, uniting as one family under Mary’s loving mantle of intercessory prayer.
After the Mass on December 9, please join us in the Parish Hall for refreshments and fellowship, as we gather to celebrate our faith and the gift of our parish community.
May Mary’s example of purity, humility, and trust in God inspire us to grow in faith and draw closer to her Son, Jesus. Together, let us make this Advent a time of renewed hope, prayer, and joyful anticipation.
I look forward to celebrating these special moments with each of you.
In Christ and Mary,
Fr. Sudhakar Mannam
