Under the sun, there is a time for everything…
There is a nice reading in the old testament that reads that under the sun there is time for everything; a time to be born and a time to die, a time to laugh and a time to cry, a time come and a time to leave, a time to change and a time to grow; and it seems that for me a time of moving has come now. Fr. Alvin Villarruel has been appointed Pastor of St. Francis Solano in Sonoma and I have been appointed Pastor of St. Mary of the Angels in Ukiah. I can assure you my friends that I have been very blessed to be in these beautiful St. Mary’s and St. Peters’ Churches, I have learned a lot and especially I am so grateful to the Lord for the love, the patience and the compassion this community have shown me, you helped me to see in you the face of Christ. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart and may God, our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph continue to bless you and your loved ones!! Please continue your support to the new Pastor Fr. Mario Valencia who is a priest also full of energy and good ideas, he is a hard and compassionate worker in the vineyard of the Lord, he like myself loves to be a priest. I will be praying for all of you, and please may I ask you to pray for me that the Lord will help me.
